If you haven’t already caught on, I’ve been putting together specific holiday gift guides for every kind of person in your life: the ladyboss, the career-oriented go-getter, the techie and now, I’ve put together a holiday gift guide for the outdoors enthusiasts in your life.
If your city or town is anything like my hometown of Vancouver, Canada, it’s impossible not to have a friend or relative that enjoys the outdoors. Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of camping, hiking and running the seawall but even I have done all these outdoors activities many times. It’s good for you!
Outdoors enthusiasts are looking for the next best gadgets and accessories that make their camping trip or hike hassle free. They want to stay comfortable and focus on the activity ahead.
Holiday Gift Guide for Outdoors Enthusiasts
Sorels Winter Boots – My cousins in Scotland loving going out for walks with their kids in the woods behind their house. Scotland can get pretty cold and wet in the winter but the cold doesn’t deter them from hiking in the snow or cold rain. Why? Because they are well equipped with heavy duty baby carriers, warm jackets, gloves and Sorels! I’m proud to say they are a Canadian brand. If they can weather the Canadian cold, you can be sure they can handle pretty much anything.
Adidas Climawarm Shield Gloves- We went to Vienna last Christmas season and my wool-lined leather Italian gloves dropped the ball in the hand-warming department. I hate, hate, hate cold hands and my fingers get frozen fast. We popped in to the adidas store for my husband and ended up buying Climawarm gloves that made me feel invincible to the cold! I swear by these gloves!
Anti-theft Backpack with USB Charging Port Business Laptop Backpack Fits to 15.6 Inch Computer Lightweight Water-resistant Knapsack – I’m crossing my fingers that my husband nor brother are reading this blog post because this is my Christmas present to both of them. While my husband isn’t a super outdoors enthusiast, my brother is. However, I wouldn’t categorize this backpack solely for the outdoorsy types. This is actually an awesome backpack for travellers. (Maybe I should do a gift guide for travelers…).
Hear me out, it’s anti-theft because it is practically seamless, it has convenient and smart pockets for cards and passes so you don’t have to go digging in your bag at the metro station, it has so many giddy-feeling-provoking functional compartments including one for your laptop, it can can charge your phone and is water-resistent. The Unicorn of backpacks.
Beat Headphones – I wouldn’t limit this to just outdoors enthusiasts but it is definitely something they would appreciate. No fussing with wires or accidentaly ripping the jack out of the ipod or phone because they were concentrating on the hike (as they should be!) with great form!
Water Bottle w/Dual Function, 160z – I had to double take when I saw this water bottle. I, personally haven’t bought this but I will probably get this for my brother’s birthday next year. You can store all your cards, ID, and freakin’ entre phone in the built-in waterproof compartment AND drink water out of it. Awesomeness Maximus.
